IDXChannel – The Commission XI of the House of Representatives (DPR) has decided to reappoint Perry Warjiyo as Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) for the 2023-2028 period.
Perry was reappointed as BI Governor, after undergoing the fit and proper test process. Commission XI Chairman, Kahar Muzakir said that his reappointment was supported by all factions.
"We unanimously re-elected Pak Perry Warjiyo for the 2023-2028 period as Governor of Bank Indonesia," Kahar told reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan Jakarta on Monday (20/3/2023).
The fit and proper test took place from 10.00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) for approximately two hours. The fit and proper test began with a presentation from the BI Governor. It was then followed by questions from representatives of all factions.

"I also thank the DPR's Commission XI which has guarded us for the last 5 years. I ask for support for the next 5 years," said Perry.
