IDXChannel - There are allegations of data manipulation that allegedly occurred in the food estate program.

Chairman of Commission IV of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Sudin said, the alleged mark-up was carried out by the government, in this case the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia.

"I need to emphasize, there is no fake food estate. What exists is that the data is marked up by the Ministry of Agriculture from food estate products," said Sudin during the RDP with the Ministry of Agriculture at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday (24/1/2023).

He said that the food security program included in the National Strategic Project (PSN) actually has potential if the data presented is not manipulated.

"If it's fake, it means that there is no food estate, there is no potential. But this is the food estate, what is not right is the report on the production," he said.

On that basis, it agreed to form a Working Committee (Panja) to investigate food estates in various regions.

"We have agreed, I was asked to make a Panja regarding food estates in several areas," he concluded.
