Government Cuts Budget of 2023 Pre-Employment Card 

The government decided to cuts the 2023 pre employment card budget, as part of the normalization of the program which was excluded from the social assistance.

IDXChannel – The government decided to cuts the 2023 pre employment card budget, as part of the normalization of the program which was excluded from the social assistance scheme. The Coordinating of Minister program which was excluded from the social assistance scheme. 

The Coordinating Minister for the Economy explained that this year the government had budgeted around Rp2,67 trillion or down from the previous years’s Rp18 trillion. 

The pre employment card program will be rolling again this year, but with a different format. Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto explained that this year the implementation of the pre employment card program has been separated from the social assistance scheme. For the reason, the government is making adjustment.
