IDXChannel - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto stated that Indonesia's economy could grow 5.3 percent year on year (yoy) if domestic consumption is maintained.

Moreover, the foundation of the Indonesian economy is still strong and the national economic recovery continues.

"Consumption, investment, and exports drive the national economy," said Airlangga Hartarto, in Jakarta, Monday (30/1/2023).
Airlangga explained that the government continues to monitor the global economic situation which has begun to be controlled despite weakness and inflation.

One of them, he continued, continues to strive to encourage a number of sectors in order to spur economic growth in 2023.
"The government encourages domestic spending. In addition, consumption and investment also continue to be encouraged, and several sectors are expected to continue to be encouraged," said Airlangga.
