Government to Reenact a 3% State Budget Deficit in 2023

IDX CHANNEL- The Government continues to push for economic recovery although next year's state budget instrument will re-implement the state financial system before the pandemic era. In a public consultation on the Draft Bill for the 2023 State Budget, the director general of budget at the Ministry of Finance, Isa Rachmatarwata, explained that in order to support recovery and deal with global economic turmoil, the government and the house of representatives will continue to try to maximize the state budget legislation as an appropriate fiscal instrument.
