President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is set to inaugurate Dito Ariotedjo as the new Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) today.

IDXChannel - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is set to inaugurate Dito Ariotedjo as the new Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) today, Monday (3/4/2023).

Coordinating Minister for Human Development (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy who currently serves as Acting Minister of Sports and Youth confirmed the decision. Zainudin Amali left his post after being elected as Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).

"That's right Dito Ariotedjo as Menpora," Muhadjir told MNC Portal through a text message.

Previously, Dito was the general chairman of the DPP Indonesian Renewal Youth Force (AMPI), a youth organization under the Golkar party. He has been involved in the sports sector for years.

Dito is now the Chairman of RANS Nusantara FC and RANS PIK Basketball. He was also Indonesia’s Chef de Mission Indonesia at the 2018 Argentina Youth Olympics. (WHY)
