Sugiono Encourages European Companies to Increase Investment in Indonesia

Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono received a courtesy call from the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) in Jakarta on Thursday (6/2/2025).

IDXChannel - Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono received a courtesy call from the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) in Jakarta on Thursday (6/2/2025).

The meeting discussed the importance of closer public-private partnerships among Indonesia, ASEAN, and the European Union. 

Sugiono also invited the private sector to help achieve Indonesian development priorities based on common grounds, mutual benefit, and sustainability.

“The Government of Indonesia’ is committed in facilitating cooperation on downstreaming, investment and trade, energy and food security, as well as human resource development," Sugiono said. 

The Minister also emphasized the importance of partnerships to improve welfare and alleviate poverty.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister invited EU-ABC to increase economic activity, investment, and business in Indonesia.

The EU-ABC delegation consisted of 12  people, led by Chairman of the EU-ABC Jens Reubbert. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
