IDXChannel - Indonesia and Norway are committed to increasing bilateral cooperation. Several priority sectors include green energy and forestry.
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi paid a visit to Norway this week. She held a meeting with her Norwegian counterpart Anniken Huirfeldt on Monday (12/6/2023).
"Cooperation on forestry and green energy were discussed during my bilateral meeting with FM @Ahuitfeldt of Norway in Oslo," Retno said via her Twitter account.
According to Retno, trade between the two countries has continued to increase in the past few years. Both parties are committed to implementing the Indonesia-EFTA CEPA trade cooperation.
EFTA is a regional economic bloc consisting of Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
Arriving in Olso on Sunday, Retno was scheduled to carry out several activities in Norway.
Apart from meeting with her counterpart, Retno was also scheduled to meet the Norwegian Prime Minister and Minister of Climate and Environment. (WHY)
