IDXChannel - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said the Indonesian economy grew by 4.87 percent (yoy) in Q1-2025.
Last quarter, the Indonesian economy, as measured by gross domestic product (GDP) at current market prices, reached Rp5,665.9 trillion.
Meanwhile, the country's GDP at constant prices reached Rp3,264.5 trillion in the same period.
"So that Indonesia's economic growth in Q1 2025 was 4.87 percent when compared to Q1 2024 or year on year," said BPS Chairman Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti said in a press release on Monday (5/5/2025).
Compared to Q3-2024 or the Indonesian economy contracted by 0.98 percent.
"Year on year, the economy in the first quarter of 2025 grew by 4.87 percent compared to the same quarter in the previous year, this growth was relatively lower than the first quarter of 2024 when the economy grew by 5.11 percent," said Amalia. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
