"This is a clear example of Indonesia Incorporated, where all elements and stakeholders, build cohesive and synergistic cooperation, not only between Government agencies and SOEs, but also with private partners, to partners from other countries," said Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Suryo Pratomo said in a media release issued by the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore.

"IHOB will also become a special space for Indonesian coffee exporting MSMEs in the future so that they get an extraordinary opportunity to be able to market their products in Singapore, so that they can move up to compete in the global export market," he added.

Director General of PEN Didi Sumedi in his speech also said that the establishment of IHOB Singapore is a concrete step in the Ministry of Trade's efforts to build a sustainable and collaborative promotion strategy. This effort is carried out by cooperating with strategic partners such as Bank Indonesia (BI) and state-owned banks, including BNI.

"Singapore is one of the most important countries for Indonesian coffee export destinations, because the character of the Singapore market is positioned as a melting pod, and is a barometer of the development trend of the coffee industry, not only in the region but also in the world," he explained,

IHOB Singapore will be a permanent showroom that will showcase a wide variety of Indonesia's finest coffee beans. Indonesian coffee bean variants that are displayed will be rotated every three months.
