IDXChannel – Business actors who are members of the Indonesian Employerss’ Association of APINDO, see the threat of layoff against employees becoming more real along with the sluggish market of export wich are experiencing a slowdown.
In fact, data from The Association’s Textile Industry and Textile Product has terminated more than 58 thousand employess.
Labor intensive industries such as textiles and textile product of TTP and footweare are still faced with threats of termination of employment.
Member of the advisory board of the Indonesian employer’s Association APINDO, who is also Deputy Chairman of the Indonesia Textile Association or API Anne Patricia Sutanto noted the condition of the national labor intensive industry especially TTP Products which includes garments and footwear are increasingly worrying amid the threat of a global economic recession.
