Finance Ministry Summons All Customs Office Heads to Jakarta

The Ministry of Finance summoned Heads of Customs and Excise Offices from all around Indonesia to Jakarta today (9/3/2023).

IDXChannel - The Ministry of Finance summoned Heads of Customs and Excise Offices from all around Indonesia to Jakarta today (9/3/2023). They were instructed to participate in a coordination meeting.

The meeting was confirmed by the Head of the Southern Sulawesi Customs and Excise Regional Office, Nugroho Wahyu Wibowo.

"Yes, today there is a coordination meeting in Jakarta," said Nugroho in a written statement on Thursday (9/3/2023).

However, the purpose of the coordination meeting is still unclear. The coordination meeting was held after the lavish lifestyle of several customs and excise officials went viral.

For information, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) recently summoned former Head of Yogyakarta Customs and Excise Office Eko Darmanto. The anti-corruption watchdog is also set to question Head of Makassar Customs and Excise Office Andhi Pramono. 

KPK wants to examine the results of the analysis of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).

Andhi reportedly owns a multi-storey luxury house in Cibubur area. Not only that, the lavish lifestyle of his daughter also caught public attention recently.
