Netherlands Invited to Support Indonesia's Priority Programs

Sugiono made a courtesy call on Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof on the first day and met with the Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp a day later.
In both meetings, Sugiono reaffirmed the Netherlands' significance as Indonesia's key partner in Europe.
"As our key partner in the European Union, Indonesia hopes to continue to strengthen its comprehensive partnership with the Netherlands," said Sugiono in a media release on Sunday (23/2/2025).
In both meetings, Sugiono explained the Indonesian government's priority programs to enhance food security, energy transition, downstreaming efforts. He invited the Netherlands to support these various strategic programs.
The Ducth government conveyed its commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Indonesia, especially in the business sector.
After visiting the Netherlands, the Indonesian Foreign Minister is planned to visit Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the High-Level Meeting of the 58th Session of the Human Rights Council. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
