IDXChannel - The Central Statistic Agency of BPS annouced December 2022 inflation of 0.66 percent on monthly basis or 5.51 percent year on year. This annual inflation also reflects inflation throughout 2022 which number eceeded the upper limit of Bank Indonesia inflation target range of 4 percent year on year.
The Central Statistic Agency noted December 2022 inflation of 0.66 percent month to month or 0.09 percent higher when compared to November 2022. December inflation was contributed by food, beverage and tobacco. Apart from housing water and fuel sectors as well as the transportation sector.
The end of BPS Margo Yuwono eplained that according to him the increase in inflation was in accordance with seasonal patterns. With the last updates BPS recorded annual inflation is 5.51 percent yaer on year. this annual inflation also refflects infaltion throughout 2022.
