IDXChannel - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim discussed a number of collaborations during a bilateral meeting in Putrajaya on Thursday (08/06/2023).
One of them is tackling discrimination against palm oil as well as other commodities.
According to the President, he encouraged this collaboration to continue to be strengthened. He also appreciated the joint mission carried out by Indonesia and Malaysia in Brussels.
"Don't let commodities produced by Malaysia, by Indonesia, be discriminated against in other countries," the President said in a statement released by the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
In addition, Jokowi also welcomed the completion of a number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries, including those related to border trade, halal certification, and investment promotion cooperation.
