IDXChannel - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded a net profit of Rp15.56 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, growing 27.37% compared to the same period in 2022.
According to the financial report issued by the bank in Jakarta on Thursday (27/4/2023), this achievement bolstered BBRI's earning per share to Rp103 per share. In the previous year, it was recorded at Rp80 per share.
BRI also recorded a consolidated net interest income of Rp32.77 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, increasing from Rp3.40 trillion in the same period last year.
In addition, the bank’s fee-based income increased 11.45% (yoy) to Rp5.08 trillion as of March 2023.
Furthermore, BRI and its subsidiaries saw loan disbursement reached Rp1,180.12 trillion. As a result, BRI recorded total assets of Rp1,822.97 trillion, an increase of 10.46% (yoy).
