IDXChannel - Indonesia and South Korea are committed to strengthening its special strategic partnership and various mutually beneficial collaborations.
This was emphasized during the 2nd Vice Ministers' Strategic Dialogue which took place in Seoul on Wednesday (13/3/2024).
In the strategic dialogue, which took place seven years since the previous occasion, Indonesian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Nugraha Mansury and South Korean First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Hong Kyun reviewed the implementation of follow-up measures of the recent summits and high-level meetings.
Also, both sides exchanged in-depth views on the establishment of electric vehicles and batteries ecosystem, cooperation in economic security such as critical mineral supply chains, and infrastructure cooperation, including the construction of Indonesia's new capital.
The two sides agreed to optimize the implementation of the Indonesia-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IK-CEPA) and bolster cooperation in strategic sectors.
