IDXChannel - Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono held a bilateral meeting with his South Korean counterpart, Cho Tae-yul, on the sidelines of a G7 meeting in Italy on Tuesday (26/11/2024).
"Had a productive bilateral meeting with FM Cho of The Republic of Korea," Sugiono said on his Instagram account.
"Delighted to advance Indonesia-ROK Special Strategic Partnership and discussed ways in enhancing cooperation & economic cooperation and accelerate trade growth through IK-CEPA," he added.
Sugiono attended the G7 Foreign Affairs Ministers’ Meeting Outreach Session in Fiuggi, Italy, on 25-26 November, alongside other Indo-Pacific countries, including the Philippines, India, and South Korea.
In the forum, he reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment, under President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership, to enhancing public welfare and advancing the Indo-Pacific region through inclusive development.
