IDXChannel - Japanese Emperor Hironomiya Naruhito, along with Empress Masako, is conducting his first official visit to Indonesia after being crowned the 126th Emperor of Japan in 2019.
According to Shiojiri Kojiro, Press Secretary to His Majesty the Emperor, the couple will be in Indonesia for seven days and will return to Japan on Friday.
In Indonesia, the Japanese Emperor will visit several locations, including Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor and Yogyakarta.
On Sunday, Emperor Naruhito visited the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Depot in Lebak Bulus and Pluit Water Reservoir.
"And tomorrow Monday 19 June 2023 in the morning there will be an event at the Bogor Presidential Palace, meeting with President Jokowi and joining a luncheon as well," Shiojiri said during a press briefing Jakarta on Sunday (18/6/2023) evening.
