IDXChannel - Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono received an honorary visit from the Jordanian Ambassador to Indonesia, Sudqi Al Omoush, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jakarta on Monday (3/2/2025).
The meeting discussed, among others, joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in the trade and investment sectors.
"Minister Sugiono also invited Jordanian businesses to invest in Indonesia’s priority sectors, such as food security, manufacturing, and energy," the Indonesian Foreign Ministry said in a media release.
"Minister Sugiono encouraged further exploration of potential areas of cooperation, including the halal industry and sharia economy," it stated.
Minister Sugiono also conveyed President Prabowo Subianto’s appreciation to King Abdullah II for the invitation to a state visit to Jordan, which is expected to further strengthen the strategic relations between the two countries.
