IDXChannel - President Prabowo Subianto received Microsoft founder Bill Gates, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/5/2025).
Gates arrived at the Merdeka Palace around 08.15 Western Indonesia Time. The two men discussed a wide range of issues during their meeting,
"Especially on the issue of global health, nutrition, financial inclusion, and public digital infrastructure," Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a statement.
Before visiting Indonesia, Gates attended the Philanthropy Asia Summit in Singapore. The Gates Foundation is one of the largest charitable foundations in the world.
In addition to meeting President Prabowo, Gates is also scheduled to see the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program at an elementary school in East Jakarta.
