IDXChannel - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held Startup Talks: Igniting Indonesia-Europe Collaborative Opportunities at Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta on Tuesday (27/2/2024).
The event aims to provide a platform for showcasing and sharing experiences between Indonesian startups, especially in the field of smart technology and technological innovation for MSMEs, with various strategic entities, especially from the European region.
This activity was initiated by the Directorate of European Affairs 1, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with Impactto, a collective startup developer platform that provides incubation services and supports ecosystem development to help early-stage startups in the process of achieving product-market fit (PMF).
"The enormous potential and economic value of the startup ecosystem in Indonesia is currently providing momentum to increase mutually beneficial collaboration with partners in the European region," said Expert Staff for Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dindin Wahyudin, in his speech when opening the Startup Talks.
The event was attended by around 250 participants from Indonesian startups, representatives of venture capital from Europe, embassies of European countries, state-owned companies, multi-national companies, KADIN, as well as representatives of related businesses/industries.
