Indonesia has strongly condemned the repeated barbarism committed by Israel in Gaza, including in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp.

IDXChannel - Indonesia has strongly condemned the repeated barbarism committed by Israel in Gaza, including in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp.

"The international community must take urgent action to stop Israelis atrocities against civilians in Gaza," the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a written statement on Sunday (9/6/2024).

"Indonesia calls for an immediate ceasefire and a permanent end to the war in Gaza," the Ministry added.

Saturday's hostage recue raid killed at least 274 Palestinians in the Nuseirat Camp, the worst death toll over a 24-hour period of the Gaza crisis for months.

Indonesia repeatedly affirmed its support for Palestine, including by promoting the implementation of two-state solution and Palestine's full membership in the United Nations (UN).
