The Indonesian Pavilion will feautre a boat design, representing sustainable development and symbolising the exploration of future potential.
"Indonesia's commitment to participating in World Expo 2025 Osaka is a crucial milestone in the comprehensive strategic partnership between Indonesia and Japan agreed upon in 2023," Ambassador Heri Akhmadi stated in a media release.
"Indonesia and Japan continue to make positive contributions to regional and global peace, stability, and prosperity," he stated.
In February, the Unveiling Design & Site Handover Ceremony for the Indonesia Pavilion Expo 2025 took place.
World Expo 2025 will be held in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. This agenda serves as a primary platform for Indonesia and various countries to reaffirm their commitments to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.
Indonesia's SDGs index increased from 64.2 in 2019 to 70.2 in 2023. As of February 2024, Indonesia has achieved 63% of the SDGs indicators that can be evaluated. (WHY)
