IDXChannel - Indonesian food and beverage (F&B) products have once again demonstrated their competitiveness in international markets, recording potential transactions worth Rp40 billion at the Gulfood 2025 exhibition.

This largest food and beverage trade fair in the Middle East was held at the Dubai World Center, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) early this year.

Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE Husin Bagis emphasized that this achievement reflects the high quality of Indonesian products, which successfully meet global standards.

“I am extremely proud to witness the participation of Indonesian companies in Gulfood 2025. Indonesian products are of superior quality and can compete in international markets. This exhibition serves as a highly strategic platform to introduce our products to the world,” he said in a media release.

At Gulfood 2025, more than 45 Indonesian companies participated, including five micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) facilitated by the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Dubai.

A diverse range of premium products was showcased, including snacks, biscuits, vegetable and animal oils, coconut milk, spices, and seafood products.

Gulfood 2025 was attended by more than 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries. This exhibition is a key event in the global F&B industry, attracting tens of thousands of visitors, including distributors, agents, and major retailers from around the world. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
