IDXChannel - Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono visited Qatar to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
Indonesia's top diplomat met with Qatari Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha on Wednesday (5/3/2026).
In the meeting, the two foreign ministers discussed relations between the two countries in various strategic fields, including politics, economy, defense and security, as well as infrastructure.
Sugiono also discussed the planned visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Qatar later this year. The visit is expected to further improve relations between the two countries.
"Pleased to meet PM/FM of Qatar, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani," Sugiono said on X.
