IDXChannel - Indonesia and Austria agreed to strengthen collaborations in the leading sectors of both countries, particularly in trade, investment, education, tourism, and renewable energy.
This was reaffirmed during the 6th Indonesia-Austria Bilateral Consultation Forum held in Jakarta this week.
"The meeting also emphasized the importance of people-to-people contact, especially among the youth who will become leaders and decision-makers in the future," the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a media release.
Moreover, both countries agreed to strengthen the implementation of the MoU in the field of Skilled Labor, aimed at facilitating the mobility of professional workers from Indonesia to Austria.
In addition to the commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, both countries also discussed various regional and global geopolitical developments of mutual concern.
