Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's planned meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Prabowo Subianto has been postponed for a few days.

IDXChannel - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's planned meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Prabowo Subianto has been postponed for a few days.

The meeting was initially scheduled to take place in the Malaysian island of Langkawi today, Monday (23/12/2024).

"Last night, he requested to postpone the meeting for a few days due to fever," Anwar said on his X account @anwaribrahim this morning. 

"I pray that President Prabowo recovers soon," Anwar said.

The two leaders attended the D8 Summit in Egypt last week. The organization consists of Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkiye, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

"I fully support the speech of my close friend President Prabowo Subianto during the recent D8 Summit," Anwar said  last week.

"Malaysia fully and firmly supports your D8 chairmanship," he said. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
