Cumulatively, the international visitor arrivals from January to September 2023 also increased by 143.41 percent compared with 2022. This increase in international visitors was mainly recorded at Ngurah Rai Airport-Bali and Soekarno-Hatta Airport-Banten, which increased by 230.12 percent and 142.01 percent, respectively.
The government is optimistic that it can boost the number of foreign tourists to reach 10 million visits by the end of 2023.
