IDXChannel - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) has announced that it will distribute dividends on 23 June 2023.
It was one of the results the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held by the company earlier this week.
"The total value of the dividends is Rp426.01 billion, or Rp9.24 per share," wrote BRIS Group Head, Gunawan Arief Hartoyo, in the company's Disclosure of Information, which was published on Wednesday (24/05/2023).
According to Gunawan, it represents 10 percent of the company's net in 2022.
Apart from being distributed as dividends, 20 percent of the net profit is also allocated as the company's mandatory reserves. While the remaining 70 percent is recorded as retained earnings.
Throughout last year, the second year after the merger of three state sharia banks, BRIS successfully recorded a solid and impressive performance.
