At the same time, 8 draft resolutions by the UN Security Council aimed at stopping the violence in Gaza have failed due to the use of the veto power. Of the four resolutions that were successfully passed by the UN Security Council, none have been implemented effectively. Beyond that, various legal decisions from the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court demanding accountability and the cessation of crimes against humanity have also gone unheeded.

"It is time for the world to side with justice and humanity, not violence," Nasir said.

This stance is in line with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's vision, who continues to call for solidarity with oppressed people around the world, including supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
