IDXChannel - The cooperation between ASEAN and Canada has become an important pillar in international relations.
“ASEAN-Canada will enter the new phase as Strategic Partner," said Indonesian Consul General in Toronto Dyah Lestari Asmarani in a media release on Tuesday (15/8/2023).
The Indonesian Consul General's residence was an important witness to the 56th ASEAN Day celebration, which was held by the Indonesian Consulate General in Toronto along with representatives of ASEAN countries on 10 August.
The three focus areas of cooperation are food estate, Indo-Pacific cooperation, and ASEAN - Canada Free Trade Agreement (FTA) finalisation.
In this regard, ASEAN and Canada have the opportunity to collaborate further, optimise their potential, and create impact the region positively.
