The presence of the Chief Justice of Family Court of Australia and representative of the Chief Justice of Federal Court of Australia to sign the MoU demonstrates Australia’s commitment to ongoing collaboration with Indonesian courts to advance justice and the rule of law.
Since 2011, Australia, through the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Justice, has worked closely with the courts to organise exchanges and link the courts to civil society organisations which have provided valuable technical assistance as reform partners. (WHY)
