IDXChannel - Indonesian Ambassador to Japan Heri Akhmadi, delivered a presentation on Indonesia's economic policy outlook and developments before the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren).

Held in Tokyo on 13 February, this annual event was attended by 39 executives from major Japanese companies across various sectors.

The Indonesia Outlook at Keidanren event aimed to provide Japanese companies investing in Indonesia with insights into the latest economic, political, and policy developments in the country. It was also intended to bolster confidence among Japanese entrepreneurs and investors to further invest in Indonesia. 

"Indonesia's economic policies are built upon the Asta Cita program, an ambitious framework designed to strengthen national unity, maintain political stability, and prioritize economic sovereignty," Heri said during the event.

During the same occasion, he also elaborated on the establishment of BPI Danantara, Japan's expected support for the implementation of the Free Nutritious Lunch Program, and the plan to procure 10,000 fishing vessels for Indonesian fishermen.
