During the Q&A session, Heri explained Indonesia’s decision to join BRICS.
"Indonesia is joining BRICS to bridge relations between the Global South and the Developed North amid global political polarization. In this context, I once again urge Japan to support Indonesia's efforts in reducing the risk of conflict, as conveyed by the President of Indonesia to the Prime Minister of Japan during their meeting at the Bogor Palace," he said.
