US Committed to Supporting Indonesia's Development Priorities

The United States (US) and Indonesia have agreed to extend the current Bilateral Development Cooperation Framework (BDCF) until September 2026.

“Indonesia appreciates the continuation of USAID’s support and partnership. This support is very meaningful for our efforts to achieve the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, especially during the transition period of the new government under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto," said Indonesian National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Development Funding Agency Scenaider Siahaan stated.

USAID cooperates with relevant technical ministries in implementing its development activities. USAID implements its strategy in six priority provinces — Banten, East Java, East Nusa Tenggara, North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, and West Kalimantan. USAID also works in Papua and the new capital city, Nusantara, as areas of special interest. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
