IDXChannel – President Joko Widodo during a visit Tanah Abang Market stated that his resolution for 2023 was that Indonesia would not be affected by the potential of global recession.
Jokowi expects Indonesia’s economic growth in 2023 could be above 5 percent Jokowi noted the globally 2022 was considered as a year of economic turbulences while 2023 will be a year of challenges.
According to the President if Indonesia can solve the challenges in 2023 as good as overcoming the turbulences in 2022 it will encourage the country’s economic growth in 2024. Futhermore, Jokowi expected that Indonesia’s economic growth in 2023 could be above 5 percent.
“If you look at it globally, 2022 is a year of turbulence, 2023 is a year full of challenges, if we can get through turbulence in 2022, we hope to pass the test in 2023, God willing, it will be easier in 2024 for our economic growth and I am optimistic in 2022 growth the economy is above 5 percent and in 2023 we hope it will be above 5 percent as well,” Jokowi said.
