IDXChannel – Indonesian Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati highlighted the role of multilateralism as the key to economic recovery in Asia following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sri discussed the region’s post-pandemic recovery during a seminar in Incheon, South Korea on Wednesday. The event was organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
"In today's interconnected world, multilateralism is the best way to rise and recover from the crisis," said Sri via her official Instagram account @smindrawati on Thursday (4/5/2023).
For multilateralism to be effective, she stated, the government must also be able to demonstrate good governance and build public trust.
"So that collaborations in multilateral and regional forums such as what we have done in the G20, ADB, ASEAN, ASEAN+3, and other multilateral forums are the strongest capital to face various global upheavals," said Sri.
