IDXChannel – It is believed that the Indonesian property sector is still prospective and will grow positively, which can be seen from the total disbursement of mortages which continues to grow every year.
As said by the President Director of BTN Haru Koesmahargyo where the property sector especially housing is one of the sectors that has proven to be able to survive in the midst of economic uncertainty. This is demonstrated by the continued positive growth of mortages in the midst of weakening national economy and being able to grow larger that total credit growth during the pandemic.
As is known national mortages distributiaon grew 7.7 percent on an annual basis in the third quarter of 2022, an increase compared to the previous quarter which was 6.81 percent.
“We have seen growth continue to be positive throughout 2020, 2021, 2022, even though total banking sector credit has grown negatively, this is a positive thing that we believe in 2023 there is potential to remain positive even though some say there is stagflation, even reflation, hopefully hope it doesn't happen,” he said.
