IDXChannel - The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Indonesia is set to host the 16th edition of the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF).
With the participation of 88 higher education institutions from 15 EU Member States, EHEF is the largest European study fair organised in Indonesia.
Representatives from the Indonesian International Student Mobility Award (IISMA) scholarships will also participate in EHEF 2024. This year, EHEF is taking place in Yogyakarta on 30 October 2024 and Jakarta on 2-3 November 2024.
“The European Union is proud to support Indonesia's vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 by strengthening ties in the field of education. Through the EHEF, we aim to offer Indonesian students access to world-class learning opportunities in Europe, fostering the skills and knowledge necessary to drive Indonesia's future growth and innovation,” said EU Ambassador to Indonesia Denis Chaibi in a media release.
“The EU partnership with Indonesia on higher education is a successful one. Every year, over 4,000 Indonesian students enrol in European universities. More than 1,000 scholarships are provided annually to Indonesian students through the EU’s flagship Erasmus programme and while various scholarship programmes are also offered by the EU Member States,” added Ambassador Chaibi.
