The number of Colombian tourists visiting Indonesia has increased significantly over the past few years. According to data from Indonesia’s Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the number of Colombian tourists was 3,992 in 2022, rising to 14,572 in 2023, and reaching 13,335 in January-November 2024.
"The implementation of the visa-free policy between Indonesia and Colombia is expected to bring various benefits, including increasing revenue in the tourism sector, as easier access without a visa encourages more visitors from both countries. Additionally, it opens opportunities for economic cooperation and strengthens people-to-people connections across various fields," the embassy said. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
