As part of the IJFD series, the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo also held other related events, including briefings on consular services and socialization of tax/customs regulations. On Friday, 21 members of the Indonesian Student Association (PPI) received education services and consultations.
During this opportunity, Ambassador Heri also held meetings with the Rector and Vice-Rector of Kanazawa University, Professor Wada Takashi and Professor Shimura Megumi to discuss opportunities for cooperation, including sending Indonesian undergraduate students through the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scheme, as well as cooperation with universities in Indonesia in the field of medicine.
On Friday, Ambassador Heri also awarded the Ambassador Award to several individuals and organizations who actively contributed in supporting Indonesian citizens affected by the earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture. The recipients of the Ambassador Award are Nengsih and Tsuchida Naoto, Hikmah Balbeid and Matsui Seiji, and Wawan Supriyanto. Ambassador Heri also awarded Toyama Muslim Center (TMC) for its role in providing logistics assistance, especially to Indonesian citizens affected by the earthquake. (WHY)
