IDXChannel – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is finalizing the name of the new Communication and Information Minister who will succeed Johnny G Plate.
According to the Head of State, he has pocketed the name of the person who will fill the vacant position.
"Already determined. Just wait," said Jokowi at the Palmerah Market, Jakarta, Monday (26/6/2023).
Jokowi asked the general public to wait. He promised to announce the new minister at the right time.
"Not yet. Later at the right time," Jokowi said.
Currently, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD is acting as the interim communication minister. Plate was named a graft suspect by the Attorney General's Office last month. (WHY)
