IDXChannel - Indonesia is hosting the International Fish Trade, Global Applicable Framework and Market Access Training in Jakarta on 4-6 June 2024.
The training is a concrete implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Economic Cooperation and Capacity Building (MoU ECCB) of the Indonesia-EFTA Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (I-EFTA CEPA).
"These trainings demonstrate the Indonesian Government's commitment to enhancing the utilization of the I-EFTA CEPA," said Afina Burhanuddin, Acting Coordinator of the EFTA Desk of the Directorate of American and European Intra-regional Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a media release on Wednesday (5/6/2024).
The training is a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the Government of Norway, the EFTA Secretariat, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Infofish.
The training materials focus on international trade of fishery products, including international fish trade instruments, preferential access for fishery and aquaculture products, market access, legality, and fishery products.
