IDXChannel - The performance of manufacturing industry in Indonesia is still expansive. The Industry Confidence Index recorded an increase in February 2023.
The index rose by 0.78 to 52.32 last month. As many as 16 sub-sectors recorded an expansion, while seven sub-sectors contracted.
“In February, the result of our surveys and calculations pointed to Industry Confidence Index of 52.32,” Ministry of Industry spokesperson Febri Hendri Antoni told a press conference some time ago.
“It was higher than the Industry Confidence Index in January 2023 which stood at 51.54,” he added.
According to the spokesman, the 16 sub-sectors that expanded last month represented 87.7 percent of the country’s GDP. Some of the subsectors are non-metal mining sub-sector and rubber, rubber products and plastic products sub-sector.
