IDXChannel - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has said that 15 domestic investors will hold groundbreaking ceremonies for several projects in Indonesia's new capital, Nusantara, early next year.
"In 2024, we will start the year with groundbreaking that will likely be carried out between January and February," deputy for financing and investment at OIKN, Agung Wicaksono, said at an online media briefing, which was followed from here on Friday.
Wicaksono underlined that the groundbreaking of several projects in early 2024 is part of efforts and a commitment to develop the new capital as a green and smart city.
"This shows that we will continue to move swiftly in 2024 with the groundbreaking to realize Nusantara as a green and smart city," he said.
A total of 15 parties are planning to carry out groundbreaking ceremonies at the beginning of next year. They come from within the country and comprise state institutions, a consortium, a foundation, and private investors.
