IDXChannel - Indonesia is committed to strengthening global health architecture in anticipation to future pandemics.
This was emphasized by Vice Foreign Minister Arrmanatha Nasir when receiving a visit from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) this week.
The visit aims to discuss collaboration between Indonesia and CEPI, especially in advancing national vaccine production independence and ensuring equitable access to health products for all countries in the world.
"Collaboration between Indonesia and CEPI holds significance in supporting vaccine industry and local manufacturing capacity, as well as development of a pandemic response ecosystem in Indonesia. This is in line with President Prabowo's priorities," said the Vice Foreign Minister, Tuesday (12/2/2025).
CEPI emphasized support towards increasing Indonesia's vaccine production capacity, among others, through cooperation with PT Bio Farma.
