Vice Foreign Minister Tata Nasir extended Indonesia’s appreciation for CEPI for its support for Indonesia and hopes that CEPI could advance partnerships with wider national vaccine producers in Indonesia, with a view to realize Indonesia's vision as a hub for vaccine research, production, and distribution in the region.
"I also hope that CEPI could provide support for the development of tuberculosis vaccine in Indonesia. Eradicating tuberculosis is a priority of the Indonesian Government which is in line with the CEPI program," he said.
CEPI is a public-private partnership organization founded in Davos, Switzerland in 2017 by Norway, India, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, and the World Economic Forum with a focus on developing health products to anticipate future health risks. (Wahyu Dwi Anggoro)
