IDXChannel – KAI is adding 51 long distance train trips per day for the 2022 Christmas and 2023 New Year holiday periods.
With these additions the total trains trips will be 484 per day. This figure is only 95 percent whend compared to the number of train trips during the 2019 Christmas and New Year periods. However, this figure has grown 21 percent when compared to the prvious Christmas and New Year period which only had 375 trains per day.
Futhermore, KAI provides 5,56 million seats or 309 thousand seats per day for the Christmas and New Year periods. However, as of December 10th 2022, the number of tickets sold had only reached 563 thousan or 10,1 percent of quota provided.
