"We asked them to prove it, and we found contents (which violate laws) have been taken down," Pangerapan remarked.
As X has shown its commitment to complying with regulations, the ministry will not block the social media platform or impose any fine on its operator, he stated.
Pangerapan also reminded social media users and the general public to be more attentive in comprehending X's policy clauses on adult content.
He elaborated that the social media operator has clarified that such content should not be displayed and seen prominently and should be labeled.
On its latest policy update published in late May of 2024, X declared that users may share "consensually produced and distributed adult nudity or sexual behavior, provided it is properly labeled and not prominently displayed."
